Lastly I donated 14,000 grains of rice through www.freerice.org. That is a website that you answer vocabulary questions and for every question you get correct you donate 10 grains of rice to African American children in Africa. I was playing the vocabulary games for many hours to finally reach a goal of 14,000 grains of rice. I reached that goal a couple days ago and I think those kids would be thanking me a lot.

Next I got my dad to donate five boxes of shirts to charity. My dad use to own a clothing company and he closed down his company but he still had a lot of extra clothing. All of the clothes were just taking up space in our laundry room so I thought what better use could I put those clothes to. So I told my dad to donate them to charity. We called some people and they came and picked up the clothes and gave them to charity. The picture below is the logo of the charity.

I thought that many homeless people would need some warmth to help them survive through the cold winter. It is 45 degrees and below at night and I just thought that not many people would want to donate blankets because they would be buying them for themselves. So I donated five blankets to five random homeless people. I got every member in my household to donate some money and I got a deal at Marshals for some pretty cheap but warm blankets.

Paying It Forward

I paid it forward in three ways. First I got my family involved by getting everyone to pay ten dollars and I will buy as many blankets as possible to donate to the homeless people. Next I went to www.freerice.org and I donated fourteen thousand grains of rice to African American children in Africa. Lastly I got my dad especially involved. He donated five boxes of shirts to charity.
